Tree Risk Assessment

CM Arborcare is qualified to perform tree risk assessment in accordance with the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA TRAQ).

What is a tree risk assessment? A tree risk assessment offers a standardized and professional procedure to identify and understand risks to persons or property presented by trees. These assessments provide valuable information to tree owners and other parties in order to make informed decisions related to tree care, management, and risk mitigation.

We offer three different levels of risk assessment.

Level 1 Assessment - Entails brief visual observation of one or more trees for any obvious hazards and noting any trees in need of further assessment. Can be performed unofficially during estimates, plant healthcare appointments, etc.

Level 2 Assessment - Entails an in-depth, standardized assessment of one or more trees, including a thorough investigation of the entire perimeter, surface-level roots, etc. A level 2 risk diagnosis is available for all customers at a fixed rate of $120 per tree. A full written assessment will be provided. See “Schedule a Tree Risk Assessment” form.

Level 3 Assessment - Entails all components of a level 2 assessment with the addition of specialty equipment and techniques such as climbing, drilling, sonic technology, etc. Used when there is serious concern about the structural integrity of a tree. Available for all customers at a malleable rate based on how long the process takes, what equipment is used, etc. See “Schedule a Tree Risk Assessment” form.
